POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide a positive first impression by ensuring a clean environment for guests by performing assigned duties. Work with management and service staff to maintain service efficiency and ensuring total guest satisfaction. TO be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The tasks below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
TASKS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Read and interpret all company documents, hand books and policies. Adhering to all of Upstream Brewing Company’s policies, procedures and dress codes.
• Ensure clean and properly set table in the shortest amount of time possible
• Assist serving staff by removing dishes in between courses, clearing tables after the guests leave and resetting tables with proper utensils.
• Returns dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to proper dishwashing area, sorting items and placing them in the prescribed area for proper care.
• Communicates with host stand about tables that have been cleaned and reset. Communicates with hosts about seating needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms and perimeter of the building and outside seating areas.
• Clean/sanitize, empty trash and spot sweep the restaurant throughout shift.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other Upstream Brewing employees and guests to foster and promote a harmonious working climate that maximizes morale, productivity and efficiency.
